Job Opportunities
The aim of The Pepin Press is to excel in its specific line of publishing - in editorial approach, selection of images, design and production quality. Furthermore, we are very ambitious in promoting and distributing our books worldwide to the regular book trade, through the internet and through alternative sales channels.
In our office in the centre of Amsterdam we enjoy an informal, yet professional, creative and internationally oriented working environment. From here, we co-ordinate all editorial, design and sales work. Currently, our team consists of eight employees and some twenty-five freelancers. Our internal working language is Dutch; communication with those outside the office is mostly in English. Salaries are competitive with those paid in comparable small businesses in The Netherlands.
All our employees are expected to be responsible, analytical, self-motivated and creative in their respective roles ('hbo werk- en denkniveau'). As in most small companies, employees have range of responsibilities. A strong interest in our field of publishing is essential and those seeking employment at The Pepin Press should be willing to regard the company as the core of their professional activities.
